I only had the cold brew but the food choices looked great and the pastries and food coming out of the kitchen looked great. The coffee options were standard for quality coffee shop. They had nice retail and add one. The only reason I gave a 4 star on service is because there were no greetings as customers walked in. The couple in line ahead of me stood at the counter for several minutes with no acknowledgment and then ended up leaving stating “if they are going to act like we don’t exist, I guess we’ll leave.” It was a busy Saturday, but a simple “Hi we will be with you in a moment” goes a long way.
My favorite aspect about Echelon is the atmosphere. Very cozy place for friends to enjoy coffee and a great place to also study. The coffee has always been 10/10 every time I’ve been there. I also brought a friend today and he said it’s worth coming back. This has been my fourth or fifth visit and a friend brought me here the first time, first encounter I fell in love. Every time I come to Springfield, I’ll definitely stop at Echelon before I leave.
Great coffee, great atmosphere. Worth noting, last time I was there it was later in the day so I ordered decaf. Usually, decaf coffee is just ok and nothing special. Theirs is out of this world. The flavor of it is as delicious as their other specialty coffees. It is worth buying by the bag for those afternoons when you really want quality coffee but don't want to be up all night.
Had a salad and a beautiful latte while on break at a seminar. Both were lovely. Latte was more of a cappuccino but still good! Quick service and quality served
Everything is great, only complaint is the price of coffee is a bit too high. But if you don’t mind that, they have the best selection of coffee that you can find. The place deserves 5 stars. Their coffee beats Starbucks by a mile. I buy their roast every time I am in town.
Delicious lattes, served in mugs upon request. Perfectly frothy and rich. We shared a piece of coffee cake, too, which was super perfect, dense sour-cream cake and crunchy , nutty topping. Not sure if they make their own pastries or not. The cafe is nice inside, great place to spend an hour or two.
The cinnamon rolls are the best! Perfection! Everyone was happy to answer any questions about anything. They sell the best chocolate: Askinose! I had the Lavender fall latte, iced and my husband had the mocha, hot. Both good.
Ok, this place is classy! The cappuccinos are amazing. I had 2 of those plus a bagel and this amazing Smoothie Bowl! Love the presentation on everything if you dine in. Nice friendly atmosphere and a great place to get work done if you’re a road warrior. Highly recommend! BTW- this place is Head and Shoulders above Starbucks!
